The 1st Annual "The Children's Voice" Golf Classic to Benefit Dove House took place on April 25th, 2009, at Fox Den Country Club. The event was hosted by the '08/'09 Mooresville Chamber Leadership Class, and raised approximately $10,000 towards the Dove House Building Fund. Team Sponsors included BestSweet, Southern Community Bank & Trust, NexStone Financial Solutions, The Growth Coach, and Stonebridge Luxury Homes. Also, "thank you" to Starbucks Coffee, Johnson Family Market, Philly Pretzel Factory, MillerLite, Coors Light, Pepsi, Wood-Fired BBQ, Rita's Italian Ice, Dairy Queen and La Patisserie.
