Mission Statement

To provide a centralized, safe and child-friendly facility that supports the investigation and successful prosecution of all reported child sexual abuse cases.  Consistent use of the centralized facility by a multi-disciplinary team, using a systematic approach, will enhance the legal process towards achieving optimum criminal prosecution, while minimizing further trauma to the child victim and non-offending family members.

Vision Statement

Working together as a community to respond rapidly and effectively to reported cases of child sexual abuse in Iredell and Alexander Counties, with intent to minimize further trauma to the child and non-offending family members, to enhance the legal system which will result in an increased rate of prosecution of perpetrators, to promote appropriate therapy for the child and non-offending family members, and to provide communication and follow-up with the child and family throughout the periods of investigation and therapy.
